L'adoption internationale : étude clinique d'un groupe d'enfants d'origine asiatique.

Abstract: The aim of the present research was to evaluate the effects on medium and long term effects of transcultural adoption. “…An obvious next step is to seek more data to see how well competing hypotheses accommodate them. The study list in van IJzendoorn et al’s Table 1 [17] contains three more studies of the IQs of transracially adopted East Asians, namely Lien et al [30], Wattier and Frydman [33], and Stams et al [34]. My own searches turned up another study, Loman et al [35], as well as Dalen et al [36] and Lindblad et al [37], two papers about entire cohorts of Swedish men.…”

“…Wattier and Frydman [33], like Frydman and Lynn [11], considered the IQ of a few Asian children adopted in Belgium. From the abstract: “the authors present a study made in 1983 on a sample of 28 children from South-East Asia and adopted four to twelve years earlier by Belgian francofone [sic?]…”
