Abstract:The article discusses the process of settling territorial disputes between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the postSoviet period. It is emphasized that they are a Soviet legacy that arose as a result of the thoughtlessly carried out national-territorial delimitation in the first years of Soviet power.
