Kültürel mirasın belgelenmesinde farklı tekniklerin karşılaştırılması: Iasos Bouleuterionu örneği

Abstract: As the first stage of cultural heritage preservation, documentation should be done. This study aims to recommend the most appropriate technique after comparing different techniques in documentation. Iasos Bouleuterion, the study material, was documented through three methods as traditional survey method, terrestrial laser scanning method and photogrammetric method. These techniques were compared in terms of measurement accuracy. In addition to this, comparison was made through digital data and SWOT analysis. A… Show more

“…In this context, taking measurements is one of the fundamental activities that will affect other components of surveying as well as other stages of architectural work that will be built upon the surveying documents. In order to avoid mistakes, surveying methodology has discrete rules and systematics (Pehlivan et al, 2022). The process is labor intensive and open to human error.…”

“…In contrast with the conventional surveying methods, digital surveying methods are focused on 3D models by creating point cloud data that enables depicting height, distance, coordinates and volume by the use of dedicated computer software (Pehlivan et al, 2022;Vlachos et al, 2019). These software enable creating orthophotos that can be transformed into 2D drawings where needed, as a later stage following the model.…”
