“…It has been found in previous work with different crystals, that z.a.p.s in both techniques, KP and BCP are similar in appearance, shape of features and symmetry, so that each pattern (either BCP or KP) can be used to reliably finger print the other. The previous Kossel pattern and BCP maps from muscovite mica [1], which has space group C2/m, show clear similarities in the z.a.p.s symmetries compared with those analysed here in the Kossel pattern map from CdTe2Os.
