Abstract: Konjac glucomannan (KGM) is a hydrophilic, neutral polysaccharide obtained from the corm of Amorphophallus konjac (Araceae). Excellent biodegradability, biocompatibility, and nontoxicity has marked the utilization of KGM in variety of drug delivery and biomedical applications.
