This study aims to provide an overview of political imagery done by political parties for their female politicians. The constructivist paradigm with a descriptive qualitative approach is used in this study. The informants were the chairman of the DPC of the Democratic Party, the PPP Party, the PKB Party, the chairman of the PDI-P DPD, and female politicians from these parties. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Interactive Model Data Analysis method. The results show that the political parties establish a positive image of women politicians, including involving all women members of the political party in every activity carried out by the party, both in a formal party and non-formal activities within the community. In every activity in the community, political parties attempted to provide the public with an understanding of the importance of the presence of women in the political space, because women will understand women's needs and produce feminist policies. The political imagery was done through political communication media, interpersonal (face to face), groups, mainstream media, and modern media. Political image establishment attempted by political parties for female politicians still has not shown a promising direction. Therefore, political parties must form a positive image for female politicians of their parties. This should be done massively by utilising various media of political communication, involving all community groups, such as the Ulama, Academics, and Non-Governmental Organisations.

This article aimed to analyze the role and chances of the Wali Nanggroe in its involvement in international peace and its relation to the implementation of special autonomy in Aceh. One of the functions mandated by the qanun (local laws) of Wali Nanggroe Institution is participation in local, national, and international peace. The participation of Wali Nanggroe Institution to be part of regional, national and international peace is an exciting study because most of Wali Nanggroe's members are currently former officials and former combatants of the Free Aceh Movement. This research will analyze the opportunities of the Wali Nanggroe Institute in its involvement in the world and its relation to the implementation of special autonomy in Aceh. This research shows the peace will continue after the peace agreement because many Acehnese leaders, former GAM leaders, believe that the MOU can bring Aceh to a self-government system through a peaceful and democratic process. that several opportunities can be used by it to carry out the function of peace, among others, the first is strong support from local political parties because Wali Nanggroe is an "old man" in Aceh; Third, good relations between Wali Nanggroe and foreign countries or bodies, as well as Wali Nanggroe's own experience in the negotiation process with the Government of Indonesia to realize the understanding of the Helsinki MoU in Finland.

Women’s voices for the earth: Communication strategies of women candidates on environmental issues in the 2024 election

Environmental issues have become a major focus in political agendas, including the selection of legislative candidates. This research aims to understand the communication strategies of women legislative candidates in shaping political narratives related to environmental issues in Aceh ahead of the 2024 legislative elections. This includes analyzing the communication approaches used, such as through mass media, social media platforms, and direct meetings with voters. Methods: This study used a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and content analysis of messages delivered by women legislative candidates through various communication channels. Results showed that women legislative candidates successfully used persuasive language to relate environmental issues to voters’ daily lives. Communication strategies included active participation in mass media, use of social media platforms, and direct meetings with voters. The narratives developed strengthened voters’ perceptions of the impact of environmental issues in the local context. This research shows that women in Aceh politics play an important role in shaping political messages related to the environment. Skillful communication strategies helped strengthen the relationship between women legislative candidates and voters, while the narratives created a deeper and more personal understanding of environmental issues.
