Abstract: This chapter identifies a gap in International Political Economy (IPE) research broadly scrutinizing knowledge from positivist and post-positivist epistemologies. It concurs with the claim advanced by the handbook editors that this gap is not necessarily bad in elaborating deep knowledge on a range of empirical issues.
