O caráter endógeno do desenvolvimento constitui-se em importante instrumento para construção de um ambiente capaz de transformar determinado espaço geográfico. Nesse sentido, os atores locais constituem-se em forças vivas capazes de criar situações propícias ao surgimento do empreendedorismo. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo caracterizar a produção científica sobre o empreendedorismo e sua relação com o desenvolvimento endógeno. Para atingir esse objetivo, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliométrica nas bases Scopus, EBSCO e Web of Science, compreendendo período aberto até 2019, resultando em 131 artigos. A pesquisa caracterizou-se também pela abordagem qualitativa de natureza exploratória, tendo por objetivo a análise das discussões e possíveis relações entre empreendedorismo e desenvolvimento endógeno, utilizando-se como técnica de pesquisa a análise de conteúdo dos 20 artigos mais citados. A base da pesquisa utilizou princípios quantitativos com característica descritiva. Os achados da pesquisa não confirmaram a Lei de Lotka, ou seja, não há indícios de elitismo de autores. Do ponto de vista das contribuições, verifica-se a confirmação das teses iniciais da pesquisa, em que o desenvolvimento endógeno apresenta relação com o empreendedorismo. Os achados mostram que o empreendedorismo se configura como importante instrumento de desenvolvimento de uma região.

This article focuses on the micro-level processes whereby knowledge-intensive entrepreneurs become embedded in networks to access resources, and in doing so help transform a region. Our analysis contributes to theoretical debates about how the entrepreneurs achieve this aim in order to develop their knowledge-intensive entrepreneurial ventures in creative industries. Our conceptualization specifies how entrepreneurs can use embeddedness in networks in order to access specific types of resources, during the pre-entry phase, the establishment phase, and the post-entry phase. The textiles and fashion industry is an interesting setting to explore these topics because of the rapid industrial transformation from mass production of textiles to large e-commerce firms. Our results suggest that prehistory of the individual entrepreneur has long-term effects upon access to unique resources within the industry, enabling this group to more quickly build their entrepreneurial ventures. Our qualitative case study contributes to theoretical discussions of how microprocesses of KIE entrepreneurship can renew regions and traditional industries, because our analysis shows the enduring impact of past industrial, regional and family ties.

Innovations and new technologies allow companies to function, work, and develop in an ever-changing environment. The article discusses the importance of innovative strategies and presents the results of research carried out on the role of each employee group (CEO, R+D department, other workers) in implementing innovations, depending on the size of the enterprise: micro company, mini company, medium company, and large company. A look not only through the prism of the size of the organization, but also by the groups of people (knowledge group) responsible for innovation is a novelty of the research and fills the gap in research on innovation of enterprises. Moreover, as an exemplification of theory which is used in practice, the article also presents innovations related to bamboo use in many enterprises from different sectors of the economy (energy, automobile, and textile). Bamboo, thanks to its mechanical and chemical properties, can become an innovative material widely used by various companies. Innovations based on the use of bamboo become eco-innovations that support eco-efficiency and the circular economy. The cognitive and utilitarian value of completed research lies in the possibility of a broad look at the innovation strategy (including bamboo as an innovative material) and in the possibility of its implementation and application in various enterprises operating on the market.
