Knowledge, Attitude and Nutritional Status in Pregnant Women

Abstract: Background: Nutrition during pregnancy is essential for a healthy pregnancy and childbirth. Malnutrition during pregnancy may cause a negative impact for both mother and fetus. “…6 Nutrition is the primary concern of the first 1000 days of life and several studies had assessed the knowledge, attitude, and perception of pregnant women about nutritional status. A study in a single PHC in Bandung by Widyastuti et al 7 revealed that the proportion of subjects with good knowledge, good attitude, and good nutritional status were 32.0%, 52.0%, and 82.6% out of 75 pregnant women, respectively.
