“…In a similar study conducted in Nigeria on the knowledge of safe motherhood among women in rural communities the median age of the participants was 25 years and, in a study, conducted in Bangladesh the mean age of pregnant women was 24.61 yrs. 13,14 Age at marriage also plays a vital role in reproductive health as well as in maintaining safe motherhood practices.
