Knowledge-Aided Covariance Matrix Estimation in Spiky Radar Clutter Environments

Abstract: Space-time adaptive processing (STAP) is an important airborne radar technique used to improve target detection in clutter-limited environments. Effective STAP implementation is dependent on accurate space-time covariance matrix estimation.
