KMCP: accurate metagenomic profiling of both prokaryotic and viral populations by pseudo-mapping

Abstract: A growing number of microbial reference genomes enable better metagenomic profiling accuracy yet put higher requirements on the indexing efficiency, database size, and runtime of taxonomic profilers.
