Abstract:Kinetic Monte Carlo modeling was employed to investigate the kinetics and photodecomposition mechanism of sulfamethazine, ciprofloxacin, sulfathiazole, and amoxicillin antibiotics by the photo-Fenton process (iron(III) citrate/hydrogen peroxide in the presence of UV irradiation).
