Abstract:Among herbaceous biomasses, several grasses are widely spread in lands and forests. In this study, the pyrolysis behaviour and kinetic analysis of two kinds of grasses including Cortaderia Selloana (CS) and Juncus inflexus L. (JIL) in nitrogen flow were studied by thermogravimetric analysis at four different heating rates 5, 10, 15 and 20 oC/min. Thermogravimetric analysis showed three distinct zones of thermal decomposition for both biomasses. Two model-free (isoconversional) methods, Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
