Kinematics of MgII Absorbers from the Redshift-space Distortion Around Massive Quiescent Galaxies

Abstract: The kinematics of MgII absorbers is the key to understanding the origin of cool, metalenriched gas clouds in the circumgalactic medium of massive quiescent galaxies.
