Kinematical Regime—Members and Linkages

Abstract: The general nature of kinematic components is discussed in the context of fine mechanical instrument use. The collapse behavior of slender members is covered. Useful tables of formula for column collapse and second moment of section are presented. The design of linkages in general is discussed.
