Killing and mutagenic effects of UV radiation on spores of Trichophyton terrestre DURIE et FREY 1957 KAREL LENHARTThe killing and mutagenic effect of ultraviolet radiation has been studied in many bpecics of bacteria and fungi. Tn recent years many papers have been published bringing ncw notionb about the mechanism of this kind of irradiation effects on the molecular level (DOUDNEY and YOUNG 1962, DOUDNEY 1963) and tlenioristrating the influence of factors which modify the effect of UV radiation and which should, therefore, be standardized for exact experiments (PITTMAK
