Due to the vast rise of users, the variety of application requirements, and the enormous necessity for ubiquitous connectivity anytime and anywhere, integration of new technologies and ideas are required. Therefore, Device to Device (D2D) communication technology has been regarded as a critical concern for Beyond Fifth Generation (B5G) networks. In the D2D technology, devices in close proximity may connect without using a Base Station (BS). Consequently, improving the capacity and performance of traditional networks. The major objectives are to accomplish a high geared data rate, increase the network coverage with low latency, and improve Energy Efficiency (EE) and Spectrum Efficiency (SE). However, the coexistence of D2D technology in the traditional network can pose many issues and challenges, such as power control, interference, spectrum access, security, and mode selection. Consequently, a comprehensive survey that includes an investigation of the current issues in D2D technology is required. In this survey, we present a new categorization of the most important aspects of resource management in B5G D2D communication, such as power allocation, spectrum allocation, interference management, and mode selection. Furthermore, we discuss the limitations and open issues of the current techniques and propose a model approach and future directions for D2D communication in B5G wireless networks. Our survey aims to assist researchers in exploring and improving D2D communication within the framework of forthcoming wireless networks.

There are few studies on forest smart tourism currently, and most smart tourist service models are only studied and analyzed theoretically. Based on this, the Internet of Things (IoT), mobile communications technology, and smart tourism related ideas are discussed in depth in this study, followed by the construction of a forest smart tourist service model. The forest smart tourism evolutionary game model is then built based on the benefit relationships of various tourist sectors. Finally, the effect of the forest smart tourist service model and the forest smart tourism service evolutionary game model is evaluated using simulation experiments. The findings show that (a) daily passenger flow data from scenic spots in June was scattered, but the overall estimate gives that the daily passenger flow was more than 800; (b) daily passenger flow data from scenic spots in December was scattered, but overall estimate shows that the daily passenger flow was less than 300; and (c) the average profit value of the game model was 3.5, 3, and 6, respectively, under various circumstances. To summarize, the model provided in this paper is reliable and appropriate for optimizing forest smart tourist services. Through the constructed model, this work seeks to give theoretical reference for further boosting the development potential of forest recreation.

This paper presents a preamble-based time domain SNR estimator for an adaptive modulation of STBC assisted MIMO-OFDM system employing \(M\)-PSK. The modified Constant Amplitude Zero Autocorrelation (CAZAC) preamble structure is exploited in the preamble-based time domain SNR estimator, which exhibits estimated SNR difference of about 0.09 dB compares to the actual SNR for SUI-5 channel. It is observed that the difference between the estimated SNR using the CAZAC-MIMO SNR estimator and the actual SNR is smaller compared to that of the estimated SNR using the benchmarking SNR estimator and its performance is further improved as the diversity order of the system increases. The proposed adaptive modulation of STBC assisted MIMO-OFDM system achieves BER and channel throughput improvement, benefited from the employment of the proposed SNR estimator. At BER\(=10^{-4}\), the proposed adaptive modulation system outperforms the corresponding non-adaptive system employing 8-PSK by about 2 dB. Meanwhile, the performance comparison between the proposed adaptive modulation system and the corresponding adaptive modulation of single-input single-output (SISO)-OFDM system demonstrated significant BER and channel throughput improvement, benefiting from spatial diversity of \(2 \times 2\) MIMO-OFDM system.
