Key Design and Construction Techniques for Collisionproof Steel Cofferdam for Large Span Cable-Stayed Bridge

Abstract: As an example, the design and construction technology of the anti-ship collision suspended steel cofferdam in Shanghai Changjiang River Bridge has been discussed. Design analysis shows that: by using the anti-ship collision suspended steel cofferdam the bridge pier can be protected and adopted lots of collision energy.
