Ketogenic diet restrains aging-induced exacerbation of coronavirus infection in mice

Abstract: Increasing age is the strongest predictor of risk of COVID-19 severity and mortality. Immunometabolic switch from glycolysis to ketolysis protects against inflammatory damage and influenza infection in adults.
