Kernelization for Feedback Vertex Set via Elimination Distance to a Forest

Abstract: We study efficient preprocessing for the undirected Feedback Vertex Set problem, a fundamental problem in graph theory which asks for a minimum-sized vertex set whose removal yields an acyclic graph.
