Abstract:Background: Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by the hyperproliferation of keratinocytes and inflammatory cell infiltration. CCN1 is a matricellular protein that plays a crucial role in cell proliferation, differentiation, and adhesion, which are accepted as psoriasis-relevant.
