Aim: This study intended to investigate the relationship between principal’s participatory leadership approaches and teacher effectiveness in Fako Division, Cameroon.
Methods: Given a correlational design purpose, data were assembled by drawing a sample of six hundred (600) that is 588 teachers and 22 principals spread across five (5) sub-divisions in Fako Division Cameroon. The first instrument titled “Questionnaire for Principal’s Participatory Leadership Approaches” (QPPLA) comprises three subscales all reflecting a high degree of internal consistency, namely, participatory decision-making (α = 0.843), democratic leadership (α = 0.759), and collective leadership (α = 0.834). The second tool, Questionnaire for Teacher Effectiveness (QTE), also indicates good reliability (α = 0.813). Regarding the verification of the research questions and hypotheses, Pearson's correlation coefficient was subsequently performed at the significance level of p < 0.05.
Results: The study found that participatory decision-making, democratic leadership and collective leadership styles significantly exerted a strong and positive impact on teacher effectiveness. Ultimately, the findings suggest that the principals should properly use the combinations of participatory decision-making, democratic leadership and collective leadership styles since they are significant in teacher effectiveness in secondary schools in Fako Division, Cameroon.
Conclusion: The study concluded that there is a strong relationship between principal’s participatory leadership approaches and teacher effectiveness.
Recommendation: This study recommend principals to enhance and foster teacher effectiveness by adopting participatory leadership approaches in schools.

Leadership is an essential element in organizational speed. Mastery of leadership theory can make a significant contribution to the madrasah principal. This research aims to examine the influence of the transformative leadership of madrasah heads on teacher performance in two madrasahs in Bandung. This research uses a qualitative approach. Collecting data with interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study involved the head of the madrasah, the deputy head of curriculum, teachers and students. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, conclusions, and validity testing. The study results show that the madrasah principal uses a leadership strategy that builds teacher commitment through regular supervision and monitoring. The madrasah head provides inspirational communication, motivates teachers with the afterlife goals, and instils discipline through habits. In dealing with criticism, the madrasah principal is open and democratic and involves all madrasah members in policy-making. This transformative leadership approach shows a constructive and honest intellectual stimulus. The head of the madrasa awards teachers who excel and offers advice to teachers who need it. This research emphasizes the importance of transformative leadership in improving the quality of teachers and realizing Madrasahs that are akhlakul karimah.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berbasis self-efficacy dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Metode penelitian: Metode yang dipakai dalam studi ini metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampelnya kepala sekolah dan guru di MIN 12 Medan. Data dikoleksi memakai kuisioner skala Likert. Olahan memakai regresi sederhana, ganda, dan parsial. Hasil penelitian: Hasil studi merujuk ke pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berbasis sefl efficacy dalam menaikan kinerja guru 0,790 (korelasi kuat), dengan capaian sebesar 55% sangat besar dan sisanya 45% karena faktor lain. Kesimpulan: Selaras akan temuan studi, maka konklusinya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berbasis self efficacy berpengaruh secara signinifikan terhadap kinerja guru.
