The coverage of giving blood-added tablets to pregnant women has not reached the target. This problem lies in the compliance of pregnant women in taking blood-added tablets. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the compliance of pregnant women in consuming blood-added tablets. This research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional design. The study was conducted at the Lubuk Buaya Health Center on May 3-10, 2021. The population of this study was all pregnant women in the second and third trimesters at the Lubuk Buaya Health Center. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling with a sample size of 59 people. Questionnaire data collection instrument. Analysis of univariate and bivariate data using chi-square test. The results of the study of 59 respondents showed that 69.5% of respondents did not comply with taking Blood Add Tablets, 42.4% of respondents had poor knowledge, 54.2% of respondents had negative attitudes, and 52.5% of respondents said that health workers did not support it. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the factors related to the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Blood Add Tablets at the Lubuk Buaya Health Center were knowledge (p = 0.026), attitude (p = 0.003) and support from health workers (p = 0.005). ConclusionThe study found a relationship between the level of knowledge, attitudes and support of health workers with the compliance of pregnant women in consuming blood-supplementing tablets. It is hoped that the health workers on duty at the Lubuk Buaya Health Center will improve counseling for pregnant women regarding the rules and the importance of consuming blood-added tablets regularly.
