Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pengolahan dan Penyajian Makanan Indonesia kelas XI A 3 SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran tutor sebaya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek yang dijadikan sumber data dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas XI A 3 SMK Negeri 2 Singarja dengan jumlah siswa 36 orang terdiri dari 22 orang siswa laki-laki dan 14 orang siswa perempuan. Sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah pemahaman dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Pengolahan dan Penyajian Makanan Indonesia pada materi menyiapkan dan membuat hidangan nasi dan mie dengan menggunakan model tutor sebaya. Data aktivitas belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Sedangkan data pemahaman belajar siswa menggunakan tes. Apabila data sudah terkumpul, dilanjutkan ke tahap analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman dan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XI A 3 SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 secara efektif dapat ditingkatkan setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran tutor sebaya

The purpose of this research was to improve the students' traditional dancing skills and to find out the implementation of the peer tutoring method. Based on the literature review and previous research journals, the use of peer tutoring methods can be used in solving learning problems in the classroom, so the researchers are interested in conduresearchingimplementation of the method. The peer tutoring method can improve the students' dancing skills. In the pre-cycle, the average score was 50.78, then in the first cycle 64.28, and the second cycle, the average score was 83.46. The results showed that in the pre-cycle activity, the students' dancing ability had not yet reached the minimum completeness criteria, then the first cycle was held by appointing 2 students as tutors based on their values in the pre-cycle and their ability of dancing. In the pre-cycle, the average result was 50.78, which was still far from the specified criteria, then the peer tutoring method was applied in the first cycle, which got an average score of 64.28, this value also still did not reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). Then after reflecting on the first cycle, the second cycle was implemented, which was the average score was 83.46 and had reached the KKM. This shows that the application of peer tutoring methods can improve students' traditional dancing skills.

Improving the quality of education is influenced by the factors involved such as teachers, curriculum, infrastructure and the environment. The curriculum for primary and secondary education is required to include art and culture subjects. The problem that is obtained at this time is the low interest of students in cultural arts subjects which results in the skills of students, especially traditional dancing, have not yet reached the criteria for completeness. Another problem is teacher-centered learning so that it limits students in exploring their skills. The purpose of this study was to improve students' traditional dancing skills with the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria, namely 80. The subjects in this study were 8th grade elementary school students. This is in accordance with the restrictions on activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The instruments in this study were observation sheets, interview sheets, documentation, field notes and tests. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The results showed that in the pre-cycle activities the average result was 50.78 which the value had not yet reached the KKM, then the first cycle was carried out for 4 meetings, each meeting took a score to find the average at the end of the cycle. Cycle I got an average score of 64.28. In cycle II, the researcher also held 4 meetings and got a final average score of 83.46 which the value has reached the specified KKM. students' traditional dance.
