Abstract:Introduction: Artesunate (ART) is a prodrug used as an antimalarial agent that acts by malarial protein damage through alkylation. Pyrimethamine (PYR) is an antiprotozoal agent that acts by interfering with the synthesis of tetrahydrofolic acid.
