Karakteristik Pasien Fraktur Ekstermitas Bawah

Abstract

Fraktur merupakan salah satu penyebab cacat diantaranya akibat kecelakaan. Fraktur ekstremitas bawah sering terjadi terkait dengan morbiditas yang cukup besar dan meenyebabkan perawatan panjang di rumah sakit. Gangguan akibat fraktur berdampak pada toleransi aktivitas sehingga mengurangi produktivitas. Selama ini karakteristik penderita fraktur ektermitas bawah belum diketahui, sehingga jika tidak dilakukan tidak dapat diketahui pencegahan resiko fraktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien fraktur ektermitas bawah. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan observasional. Tekhnik sampling yang digunakan yaitu total sampling, sehingga didapatkan responden sebanyak 40 orang. Analisa hasil yaitu menggunakan analisis statistik distribusi frekeunsi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu semua responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki (100%), sebagian besar responden berusia 36-45 (42,5%), untuk jenis fraktur sebagian besar yaitu fraktur terbuka sebanyak 25 (62,5%) dan lokasi fraktur terbanyak yaitu pada tibia sebanyak 26 responden (62,5%). Fraktur dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas penderita akibat adanya gangguan ektermitas akibat cedera yang menganggu fungsi tubuh. Dengan mengetahui karakteristik pasien fraktur ektermitas bawah, maka perawat dapat melakukan intervensi keperawatan yang sesuai. Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai faktor resiko yang mempengaruhi fraktur ektermitas bawah yang dikaitkan dengan karakteristik
