K-pop TikTok: TikTok's expansion into South Korea, TikTok Stage, and platformed glocalization

Abstract: We examine how TikTok expanded into the South Korean landscape by utilizing K-pop as a vehicle, thus demonstrating the theory of ‘platformed glocalization’.
