“…Interestingly, no crysotile phase was observed and usually this silicate mineral is very common in serpentinite samples (Teixeira et al, 2013). After 800 °C treatment in air atmosphere, it can be noticed several changes in the XRD patterns after hydrate magnesium silicate phase modifications, yielding new mineral peaks characterized as forsterite (Mg 2 SiO 4 , JCDPS 34-189), olivine [(Fe,Mg) 2 SiO 4 , JCDPS 2-1,343] and enstatite (MgSiO 3 , JCDPS 2-546) (Ballotin et al, 2016). There were no differences in mineral constitution in the serpentinite samples obtained after reducing atmosphere.…”

“…The EDX analysis of the CaO/Clino green nanocomposite verified enrichment in the Ca and O content to 7.31 and 50.77%, confirming the formation of CaO as a new phase, in agreement with the concluded results from the X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern (Figure C). The decline in the Si (28.49%) as well as Al (5.85%) content is an indication of their partial leaching or exchanging by Ca 2+ ions during the modification reaction under the influence of either the alkalinity conditions or the reducing effect of the green extract. …”

“…The band at 1601 cm −1 is attributed to stretching of the C–C bonds, while the bands at 1379 and 1213 cm −1 are attributed to deformation of the C–H bonds of the ring. At 1128 and 1036 cm −1 there are two bands assigned to asymmetric and symmetric stretching of the S–O bond 38, 39, 40.…”

“…The yield was obtained by calibration curve with methyl oleate concentrations ranging from 0 to 100 % 37. Quantification was done by taking into account the signal at 2.3 ppm (B1) for the hydrogen atom of the methylene α ‐carbonyl group, found in the triglyceride and the methyl ester, and the signal at 3.7 ppm (B2) for the methoxyl group found in the methyl ester 37–39. Thus, the ratio between signals B2/B1 was used to construct the calibration curve.…”
