“…Our recent data showed that JWA was essential for the rearrangement of F-actin cytoskeleton and activation of MAPK cascades induced by As 2 O 3 and PMA. JWA deficiency blocked the inhibitory effect of As 2 O 3 on HeLa cell migration, but enhanced cell migration after PMA treatment (Chen et al, 2007a). As increased cell migration is a crucial step in cancer metastasis, these findings implied that JWA may regulate the metastatic potential of cancer cells.…”
