Judicialização Da Saúde E a Trajetória Da Enfermagem Brasileira Na Pandemia Da Covid-19

Abstract

Objective: to discuss the strategies that can be adopted by nursing workers to mitigate psychological suffering during their professional performance in the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: theoretical-reflective study whose theoretical axes were: i) strategies adopted by the organization and work process; ii) strategies employed by class entities; iii) strategies practiced by workers: self-care. Conclusions and implications for practice: the problem of psychological distress resulting from working with people affected by Covid-19 is not a trivial situation, therefore, it is necessary to adopt comprehensive strategies to mitigate suffering and prevent illness. In this sense, strategies related to work organization, work process and the involvement of class entities are relevant, as well as the worker to be involved with their own care. It should be noted that the strategies discussed are not characterized as a Cartesian formula to be followed, but as guidelines that can alleviate the suffering that plagues the nursing collective.
