Abstract:Groundnut is a leguminous and oilseed crop cultivated throughout the globe due to its excellent nutritional values. Area under groundnut cultivation increased over time though productivity became stagnant and not given the desirable value. Key cause associated with this problem is indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizer which continuously deteriorates soil health and quality.
