Journal Publication as a Professional Practice Activity for Rehabilitation Counselors

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to help rehabilitation practitioners enter the arena of written scholarship and dissemination of knowledge. This article offers practical information on the writing and publishing process. This includes tips on how to select a topic, learn to write effectively, prepare a manuscript for publication, and choose a professional journal. Finally, this paper summarizes the manuscript reviewing process.
