“…Most of the participants seemed to acknowledge such phenomena, whereby the clinical mentors can have a paradoxical influence on the students' patient safety experience, by enforcing patient safety behaviours in one context, but not allowing them to develop important parameter of patient safety behaviour in another, such as speaking up against their perceived unsafe practice.
