In serological studies, the expression of canine MHC antigens appears to be controlled by alleles at three loci: DLA-A, DLA-By and DLA-C (1). While DLA-A and DLA-C antigens appear to be class I in nature, DLA-B alleles have recently been shown to be encoded by class I1 genes (2).…”
