Joint Pressure and Production Analysis to Understand Inter- and Intra-Zone Well Interference: A Midland Basin Case Study

Abstract: This paper demonstrates how to use pressure data from offset wells to assess fracture growth and evolution through each stage by quantifying the impacts of nearby parent well depletion, completion design, and formation. Production data is analyzed to understand the correlation between fracture geometries, well interactions, and well performance.
