Objective: to know the evaluation of students about educational software with a theme related to oral hygiene. Methodology: this is a descriptive study, using primary data. 247 schoolchildren enrolled from the 1st to the 5th year of a basic education from private school participated in the research. The educational software, called Odontogame, was developed through the Unity3D program, based on the First Person Shooter model. Data collection took place through a questionnaire with open and closed questions. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical procedures. Results: most participants said they liked the game and would play more often. On a scale with a minimum score of 1 and a maximum of 5, the average score assigned to the game was 4.44. The average score for learning the content conveyed by the game was 4.53. Conclusion: the software can be used as a tool to facilitate the teaching-learning process to motivate good oral hygiene habits, being especially suitable for children between 6 and 8 years old.
