Abstract:Background: A speech-language pathologist's (SLP) job is demanding but rewarding. Job satisfaction for speech pathologists is an essential factor. Speech-language pathologists work with children and adults to identify, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing problems.
