Job Satisfaction Issues: The Focus Group Approach

Abstract: This qualitative study investigated job satisfaction in an Australian occupational therapy department using the focus group method. Herzberg's model (Herzberg, 1974) of motivator and hygiene factors provided the context for group discussion. Discussion group transcripts were analysed using methods described by Krueger (1988) and supported by Miles and Huberman (1990).
