First, formally employed nurses have a higher occupational status in the hospital than contract-based nurses, as their position is guaranteed by the government, and they have extensive benefits (28). “…Previous literature has highlighted several key strategies and incentives for attracting nursing students and new graduates and retaining nurses at hospitals. Mainly, a higher salary has been identified as the most important feature in attracting nursing students and nurses (Bao & Huang, 2021; Doiron et al, 2014; Fields et al, 2018; Liu et al, 2019; Meng et al, 2021). In addition, nurses have a high preference for workplaces with factors such as better nursing work environments, a positive organizational culture (Park & Ko, 2016), adequate staffing levels and working intensities (Liu et al, 2019; Meng et al, 2021), supportive management and staff (Doiron et al, 2014), and a strong nursing voice in management (Fields et al, 2018).…”

Thus, in the presence of adequate incentives to motivate employees, there is the possibility to give their best towards meeting organizational goals (Bakoti c, 2016).…”
