Abstract:We analyze multi-wavelength observations of the jets of the micro-quasar SS 433 reported by Marshall, vis-à-vis the acceleration dependence of the Doppler Effect as reported by Wagh. Specifically, we are only interpreting the spectral shifts as arising due to the acceleration-dependent Doppler Effect and find the speed of blue-shifted jet to be ~ 0.022c and that of red-shifted jet to be ~ 0.29c. Our results have consequences for the energetics of the prime mover and jets in SS 433.
