Zhang, Morsing, and Strom (1996) and Zhang and Strom (1999) suggested the "jet-drop-distance model" could establish a technical methodology to control the jet trajectory using experimental variables including the Archimedes number and the corrected Archimedes number from a laboratory-scaled chamber experiment. The study of Zhang et al (1996) showed that the flow pattern of incoming air could be affected by various physical parameters, such as the thermal energy of the incoming air mass, the pressure difference in the vicinity of the slot openings, the internal air temperature and the aerodynamic properties of the slot openings.…”
