Jejunogastric intussusception after distal gastrectomy with Billroth II reconstruction

Abstract: Intussusception in adults is uncommon. We present a rare case of intussusception of efferent jejunum through gastrojejunostomy in a patient who underwent distal gastrectomy with Billroth II reconstruction. Revision total gastrectomy was performed successfully. High index of suspicion and early diagnosis is crucial as delayed intervention can lead to a mortality rate of 50%.
