More recently Susan Weiner has published an article focusing on Jean-Pierre Léaud’s performance (Weiner, 2002), and in the same year Jérôme Game gave a London conference paper, seemingly unpublished, entitled ‘Political French cinema of the 1970s: the case of Jean Eustache.’ To these can be added sundry reviews and occasional pieces online, but otherwise the cupboard appears dispiritingly bare.…”
