Abstract:Representatives of the extant family Oenonidae (Annelida, Eunicida) have a prionognath jaw apparatus, with maxillae having forceps-like elements, a number of asymmetrical dentate plates and long slender carriers, which is characteristic of some fossil forms known from the Paleozoic epoch.
