Abstract: This selected annotated bibliography takes a multidisciplinary approach to scholarly essays written since 1960 about Jane Addams, founder of Chicago's Hull House settlement and Progressive Era activist. The entries reflect the perspectives of scholars in fields such as philosophy, sociology, rhetoric, and peace studies on Addams's life and work.
