Issues of Organization of Corruption Prevention in Government Authorities

Abstract

Государственная власть и местное самоуправление 40 АНТИКОРРУПЦИОННАЯ ПОЛИТИКА statutory acts; erosion of credibility and other interests of the government; substantial tangible damage in many cases; encroachment upon rights and legal interests of citizens or organizations and interests of the whole society and the state in general. Consciousness of gravity of the issue resulted in adoption of a number of anti-corruption statutory acts in 2008-2009. Creation of the due legal base allowed reconstruction of the organizational part of corruption combating on the federal and regional levels. However, building a well-coordinated corruption combating system in government authorities on the regional levels requires bringing in compliance regional statutory acts regulating anti-corruption policy bases in the region. Effi cient corruption combating needs diverse, complex and long-term procedures especially concerning prevention of this negative phenomenon including on the regional level. This article attempts to understand issues hindering effi cient implementation of anti-corruption procedures in government authorities of the Transbaikal Territory.
