“…This is not only a safety concern for those working with wall paints and similar (occupationally or non-occupationally) but also for the considerable number of persons already sensitised to MI, mostly via (leave-on) cosmetics. These may suffer from airborne ACD by the emissions of freshly painted walls, in which MI is detectable for many weeks, leading to problems for the sensitised inhabitants [110][111][112], which may be protracted to almost one year [113].
