“…The light absorption behaviors of the as-synthesized samples were evaluated through UV-VIS absorption spectra. “…The most commonly used supports are various forms of SiO 2 , attributed to the tunable pore structure and abundant surface hydroxyl groups. Among which, ordered mesoporous silica materials, such as MCM-41 and SBA-15, have been used as the supports of HPAs catalysts in oxidative desulfurization, [2][3][4] selective oxidation, [5][6][7] esterification, [8][9][10] dehydration of glycerol to acrolein, 11,12 ethanol dehydration, 13,14 acylation, 15 hydroxylation, 16,17 and isomerization, 18,19 and so on. Mesocellular foam silica, as a modified form of SBA-15 with three-dimensional pore structure and larger pore diameter, has been used as a support for Cs 2.5 H 0.5 PW 12 O 40 , and the obtained catalyst showed good performances in benzylation of phenol 20 and hydroxyalkylation of anisole with benzaldehyde.…”
