Isomeric ratios of the yields of (γ,n) reactions on121,123Sb

Abstract: Since the beginning of the 1960s the isomeric yield ratios d = Yra/Yg or cross section ratios r = am/Og of photonuclear and other reactions have been widely used to obtain the parameters of nuclear level densities by calculations based on the statistical model [1]. Moreover, data on d and r are also necessary for applied investigations (for example, in activation analysis). Data on the energy dependence of the isomeric ratios d(E.rra) or r(E. r) of photonuclear reactions are of greatest

“…Studies of isomeric ratios are of great importance in both fundamental nuclear physics research and applications [1][2][3][4][5][6]. So far, the isomeric ratios are mainly measured on nuclear reactions induced by neutrons [7][8][9][10][11][12], charged particles [13][14][15][16], and bremsstrahlung photons [3,5,17,18]. The measurement with gamma quanta as projectiles has some essential advantages in studying nuclear structure and nuclear reaction mechanism.…”
